Do you like to make cards but sometimes are not sure where to start?

 It can be a bit daunting deciding what colour to use and what colours go together and then what embellishments do I use to make the card pop? It's a lot to think about is it! 

Well Stampin'Up! Have done all the Thinking for you and have produced some great card kits that have everything you need in them ( apart from the sentiment , you have to buy that separately , which is good because you can choose the right one for you!) 

Over the next fortnight I am have a Product spotlight fortnight, where every day I pick one of our fantastic products to put in the spotlight.

Just remember that the sentiment need to fit onto the die cut banner.   So I would recommend looking at  a large mix of small sentiment to suit any occasion.

Morning stampers!  Finally a ray a of sunshine coming through the window of my craft room ! not sure how much it will last but I'm making the most of it while it does. 

Today I made another quick card project, that can be used for valentines or just to send to someone you love. 

For this project I used the fresh prints dsp paper stack, love you to the moon and back stamp set ( available in the spring/summer mini catty ) Coastal cabana and crisp cantaloupe ink pads and bakers twine. I also highlighted the moon craters with some glitter.

Just a quick card project today using the whisper white notecards and envelopes pack ( 131527) 

I also used the modern medley dsp paper and the En francais  large wooden stamp, along with basic black chevron ribbon, metal button, silver thread twine, neutrals candy dots and the happy birthday was from the create a cupcake stamp set,

Just a quick card again today using  again the notelet and envelope pack. I also used the new banner blast stamp set, which you can get free from the new sale a bration brochure, when you spend £45 and over. 

I stamped using baked brown sugar, crisp cantaloupe and pistachio pudding ink pads. I also used the celebrate stamp from tag it stamp set, which I stamped in basic black ink. 

I finished it of with neutrals candy dots.

Another quick make from sunny Corby! not!!

Today's make is another stamp set from the new spring/summer mini catty, available very soon, January 28 th to be exact. 

Again I used the whisper white notecard and envelope set, cute clips and cherry cobble grosgrain ribbon and neutrals candy dots from the annual catalogue.  fresh prints dsp paper stack, baby we've grown stamp set from the Spring/Summer mini catty.  I created the embossed lines using my simple scored board.

We'll  I'm still feeling the Love !  I think I'm just a hopeless romantic! And I am very lucky to have found my soul mate 6 years ago,he inspires me everyday. 

Enough about that, back to the card project I have done with the language of love stamp set that's available from the new spring/summer mini catalogue available from January 28 th.

I used Stampin'Up!'s whisper white notecards and envelopes pack ( 131527),  language of love stamp set, pear pizzazz chevron ribbon, calypso coral, coastal cabana and pistachio pudding ink pads. I also used some of the neutrals candy dots and some bakers twine with few mini rhinestones to give it some bling!

 It's pretty simple and I really like how it turned out , hope you all like it too, comment are always welcome.

Stampin'Up! UK - Fringe benefits

Another quick card project I made using some new products that will available in the new spring / summer catalogue, available from January 28th to uk and Europe.

To make this card I used whisper white for my card base  Also I used very vanilla, strawberry slush and coastal cabana cardstock, which I layered up after I used the New fringe scissors!  To cut them. 

I then used the new natural chevron ribbon and the happy congratulations stamp set, also available in the new catalogue and finally I used some of the neutrals candy dots.

Stampin'Up! UK - True love - Double slider card

This card was inspired by one of our top UK demonstrators Michelle last  ( www.michellelast.co.uk ) from whom I purchased the tutorial to make this card. 

I decide to make it  for my other half for valentines day!  I tried not to make it to girly, I just hope he likes it. 

Products I used were : 

coastal cabana, whisper white  and basic black card stock.

Blushing bride, crumb cake and black stazon  ink. 

flowerful heart ,follow my heart and love you more stamp sets . ( which are available to buy until January 27 th ) I also used the En francais stamp from the annual catalogue. 

I also used very vanilla candy dots from the neutrals. 

I'm please with how it turned out and will be make more slider cards, so what this space !

Simple New Home card

Just a quick simple New Home card I made today.

I used  very vanilla cardstock and cut down to make a 3x3 card, I also used strawberry slush card stock and coastal cabana. 

With the strawberry slush I cut out the house shape using the scalloped square punch, which is also used the cut out the roof in coastal cabana and then cut in half using my scissor snips. I used the owner window punch for the chimney  and the small heart punch for the two hearts, that I used for the door and smoke.  

I finished it of with some paper piercing down the side and some strawberry slush ruffled ribbon. 

I don't  have a new home stamp, so free hand wrote the new home words. 

It's a basic simple card, not at all what I usually do but I like how it turned out.

Happy Box day !

 Morning everyone. 

Hope you have all had a great week of crafting and have enjoyed making toes cards and gifts. 

I am a very happy bunny today as I got a huge parcel delivers from Stampin'Up! By mr UPS man yesterday!

A Virtual Hostess club is an opportunity for you to build a nice collection of NEW StampinUp! product over a period of time while spreading the cost and ensuring you are still receiving the fantastic hostess benefits associated with a qualifying order. 

A qualifying order has a value of minimum £150. 

For this the hostess is eligible to the following FREE benefits

-£25 worth of free product to be spent as you wish in the catalogue, you can choose between exclusive hostess sets or merchandise you decide.

The bigger the total the bigger the benefits.

So here's what happens with our Virtual Workshop: 6 people get together ( I advertise for those people you don't have to provide 6 of them yourself, although of course if you know a crafting buddy who will love being part of this please let her/him know) and form a club, the club runs for 6 months, each member agrees to place a minimum order of £25.00/ month plus p&p. 

This will give us the minimum qualifying order we need every month. 

Each month a DIFFERENT member in the club gets to be the hostess and collects all the free benefits associated with that month's total.

 By the end of the 6 months all the members in the club will have had their turn to be the hostess.

Is as easy as that and each month a box of goodies will drop on your doorstep.

For Today's project decided to use the hello lovely stamp set

I used very vanilla and modern medley DSP and Basic black chevron ribbon. 

I also used chocolate chip ink.

Morning everyone

I'm still feeling the love! I just love these stamps set from Stampin'Up! 

The whole lotta love valentine setup is wonderful but only available for a limited time!! Up until January 27th.  

They have great bags for valentine goodies and monster hugs for the children to send and fantastic stamps sets too, follow your heart , love you more and flowerfulheart heart.

For today's card I went for a more elegant look using 

Very vanilla cardstock and modern medley DSP 

I used the True love stamp from the follow your heart stamp set and stamped with real real ink, then I punch it out using the large oval punch

I then stamped the  flowerful heart also in real ref and hand cut it out.
I also stamped the Eiffel Tower using black staton and hand cut that out too.
I hand embossed the stripes on the bottom of the card using the Simply scored , I like how it turned out.
I then finished it of with some black ribbon and a ribbon slider (non SU !!)
