spring has sprung!

Hi everyone, what a lovely sunny day, just seeing the sun make you feel good, doesn't it ! As us here in the UK don't get to see it that much!!
Any way today's card was inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest.

I used soft sky cardstock as the card base , hardwood stamp, stamped with baked brown sugar on bake brown sugar cardstock. Then I used my Stampin up trimmer to cut the hardwood up into panels for the gate, using my snip to mak the pointy ends. I then inked the edges with my sponge dauber with baked brown sugar. I used the happy congratulations stamp set with black stazon for the lantern string!  And them stamped the lanterns in pistachio pudding, calypso coral, rich razzleberry, crushed curry and island indigo and punched out using the Stampin'Up! 3/4 circle punch.
I stamped the sentiment with Stazon, finished with a candy dot.
I used gumball green cardstock and the fringe scissors to make the grass.
I used the itty bitty flower punch and white candy dots for the little flowers and petite petals for larger flower.

I love how it turned out and I hope you like it too. I would love to see your version of this card and would appreciate any comments.
